Warm-up Drawing: “I’m not ALWAYS this nerdy…”

For today’s warmup drawing, I decided to go with a classic. I can never go wrong with Superman.

These drawings are all supposed to be experiments to test out real media stuff…so I’m going to try and do something different, or use a tool in a new and interesting way. This one was done with Prismacolor Pencil, a standard plastic eraser to pull out highlights, and a couple Q-tips with some alchohol (brush cleaner, in this case) to smooth out some of the Prismacolor’s natural texture.

Do you love Superman like I do? Do you know someone who does? Well, you or a loved one can have this TOTALLY AWESOME piece of original art for only $50.00 + $4.95 Shipping and Handling. First come, first served basis; email Art@ChadWelchArt.com, and the winner will be given payment information post haste.
